Combining several design elements easily recognizable as those inherent to Erik Nording's Danish style, this robustly proportioned bent Dublin features a plateau-crowned, asymmetrical rim atop a forward-canting, tall bowl, while a gracefully curling shank and lightly downturned stem add a gestural, sweeping disposition. It's dressed in a smooth, smoky contrast stain, with the lower bowl and transition wearing a dark rustication for contrast. Perhaps most eye-catching on this Double Silver pipe is the ornate silver adorning the shank end and stem base, showing off the carver's shaping skills and talents with metallic accents featuring tiny dotted patterns and Nording's "N" logo.
