A rather compact piece, this Bulldog from Nording is a snug, portable shape that still retains the form's characteristic muscularity. A subtle ridgeline demarcates the gently tapered rim from the rest of the bowl's downward taper to the firm heel, while a stocky diamond shank extends from the low-slung, tight-knit transition. The stummel wears a warm, smoky smooth finish that accentuates the natural grain orientation of the briar, with the jet-black color of the vulcanite mouthpiece perfectly complementing the stain's hues.
