Nørding: Erik The Red Smooth Billiard Tobacco Pipe

It's not often that one sees a Billiard such as this from Erik Nording, as he is better known for his floral, fluted, flagrantly fashionable Fancy Freehand fare. With his Erik the Red series, though, he offers more classically inclined designs at an attractive price point. A tall, hearty bowl is paired here to a relatively trim length of shank, with a stylized, expansion ring-bedecked stem tapering out back for a touch of signature Nording styling in this otherwise conservatively shaped piece. A dark, warm stain dresses the stummel, revealing some handsome grain throughout and keeping the look of the pipe somewhat subdued, though still quite striking.
