Nørding: Erik The Red Partially Rusticated Billiard Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-508-15424
For decades, Erik Nording has curated the Danish Fancy Freehand aesthetic, crafting organic designs embellished with accenting ridgelines and fluting channels. This straight Billiard, however, presents a much more traditional style, conforming to the archetypal, pipe-chart standard with its slightly canted bowl and balanced proportions. Such classic shaping defines the Danish carver's Erik The Red series — each shape in the line marked by more traditional shaping and designed for workhorse enjoyment. This particular example wears Nording's signature partial rustication for intriguing texture in hand, and the stem's expansion rings and unique flare hint at Nording's typical Fancy Freehand aesthetic.
