Nørding: Partially Rusticated Rhodesian Churchwarden Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-508-15630
A rather petite Rhodesian bowl is perched at the fore of a trim shank and lengthy Churchwarden stem in this piece from Erik Nording, the Danish carver doing well to capture the outline of the classic form. The mid-set waistline of the bowl is ringed by a firm ridgeline that marks the taper to the rim as well, and its bulb-like build takes on a dynamic forward cant from the wide transition. Out back we see the stem ebb out of the shank from a metal spigot mount arrangement, its hues contrasting the ruby tones of the partial rustication dressing the stummel.
