Nørding: Partially Rusticated Poker Spigot Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-508-15691

The Poker is a shape that is inherently practical, in its purest form it comprises a cylindrical bowl paired to a low to mid-set shank and a sleek stem. Erik Nording has here rendered the profile with a handsome bit of flair, mainly present at the heel, whose rearward slant not only makes this pipe a stable Sitter, but cants it forward dynamically, as if the piece itself were rushing forward. The tall bowl leaves plenty of substance above and below the transition for the fingers to wrap around and the capacious chamber within its walls ensures lengthy smoking sessions. At the junction, we see a metal spigot mount, adding increased durability and contrasting sharply against the partial rustication dressing the stummel.
