The shaping of this bent Pot from Erik Nording is part of his Cut line of pipes and is more moderately designed and shaped, certainly, than his wilder Freehand pieces. Here, the thick-walled, stocky bowl boasts the broad base that characterizes the form, its mass contrasted by the comparatively far more slender, paneled shank. It's topped by a colorful accent band, then a bright adornment of silver before a vibrant, sunny yellow stem adds plenty of liveliness to the palette.
