Nørding: Brown Matte Freehand (3) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-508-15812
Handy, muscular, and boasting a sizeable chamber capacity, this Freehand shape is easily recognizable as the work of Erik Nording. The towering bowl possesses a flared, undulating, plateau-crowned rim, a cinched waistline, and a firm, structural heel. The gently lifted shank features a dipped flare at the end, pushing a small outcropping of briar downward in a way that harmonizes with the firm ridges and fluting channels that populate the bowl. The stummel wears a smoky, contrast-stained smooth finish that showcases sweeping flame grain on all sides of the bowl, while the creamy acrylic stem adds a complimenting dose of color to the pipe.
