An early pioneer of the Danish Fancy Freehand design style, Erik Nørding has been carving pipes since the 1960s and today supervises an impressive workshop in Denmark with a talented team of artisans. The Nørding aesthetic often eschew traditional shaping in favor of creative Freehands marked by intricate flourishes and stylish finishes, and his Harmony pipes present one of the most avant-garde finishes within the Nørding portfolio: Instead of being stained, these pipes feature a papier-mâché decoration that varies from realistic animal depictions to more abstract illustrations. They represent something entirely unique within the pipe-making world, further individualizing Nørding's eclectic fare, and offered here on a stylish Freehand design.
