Nørding: Valhalla Smooth (502) Tobacco Pipe

Part of Erik Nording's Valhalla series, this "502" straight Billiard showcases a look that's far more reserved than his usual fancy Freehand works. The bowl here is rather plump around the base, with a low set waistline that informs a gentle taper to the rim, lending it a comfortable feel in hand, especially given its wide transition. The shank pushes out of this transition to meet a black acrylic accent band around its end before stepping down a bit into the matching tapered stem, the stummel's vibrant auburn stain keeping the look quite classic.
