Danish artisan Erik Nørding has been carving pipes since the 1960s, building a formidable reputation as a leader in the Danish Fancy Freehand movement, and his instantly recognizable style is characterized by organic shaping and wild finishing techniques. Nørding's Fantasy series embodies this aesthetic, composed of pipes dressed in a rich ruby stain and decorated with evocative partial rustications in appropriately fantastical style. Each pipe is equipped with a black acrylic stem, immune to oxidization, ensuring that the rich color palette on display never fades. Presented here in a Freehand form, the Fantasy finish is further elevated by a rim of craggy plateau.
