Dark and sturdily proportioned, the pipes of Rattray's Craggy Root series have a strong, rugged element to them. That having been said, they also display some sound classic lines, as well as a nice touch of refinement to the smooth-polished, auburn-stained section along the shanks. Here it dresses the Scottish marque's "57" shape — a handsome Billiard imbued with the firm proportions and deep chamber desired in the classic design.
