A poised, elegant design, Rattray's "169" is the ever-charming and quite regal Prince shape. As is traditional for the form, the "169" pairs a pert, rounded dollop of a bowl with a subtly curved shank-and-stem arrangement, producing a profile that's at once sophisticated and relaxed.
The Fair Maid series from Rattray's poses a sleek and streamlined aesthetic, befitting its name. Composed of svelte renditions of shape-chart standards, the line unifies pipes with slender proportions and gentle lines to offer a selection of lightweight pipes of fair, elegant design. Offered in smooth or sandblasted finishes, the series is here represented by the sandblasted variation: defined by a rich, ruby stain and jet-black vulcanite stem. Unlike many of Rattray's pipes, which are drilled to accommodate a 9mm filter, pieces within The Fair Maid series offer standard drilling to allow for the line's more petite shaping.
