Ropp: Algerian Superior Paneled Bulldog

Product Number: 002-598-6228

Algerian briar was made big by the likes of Dunhill and Barling, and Wally Frank as well certainly benefited from his brand of pipes being associated with it. Whether or not you agree with claims that a briar whose wood from region A will consistently smoke differently compared to a briar whose wood came from region B (or C, or D, etc), you can at least likely accept that briar wherever it comes from can be graded by quality: presence of grain, absence of flaws, that sort of thing. Well along with the pipes of the Algerian Superior line having been turned from Algerian briar, the old production run they originate from also specified select grade Algerian briar — and no fills in the end results.
