Steve Liskey: Sandblasted Bent Apple with Bamboo
Product Number: 002-713-0009
This briar is like the wicked stepbrother to the other bent Apple from Steve Liskey in this update. Where that piece has been polished smooth, Steve has opted here for a dense, dark sandblast. Where that one is only wearing three simple, widely-spaced knuckles, Steve has packed six into a shank that isn't that much longer than that of the previous offering. This one has considerably more mass to the squat Tomato-esque bowl, though it should surely not effect this fellow's ability to be clenched, as Steve has deftly included a sleek, down-turned saddle bit paired to that trim, densely-knuckled shank.
