Trey Rice: Sandblasted Dublin with Ivorite Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-921-0004

American artisan Trey Rice was introduced to pipes in college, quickly becoming enamored with the hobby and seeking to craft his own. Rice developed his skills largely on his own before learning with fellow artisan Tyler Beard, further honing his craft. Rice cultivates an eclectic style unified around the principles of clear form and functionality, drawing inspiration from other American artisans, as well as the great Danes and classic English marques.

This Dublin is a streamlined piece, featuring a pert, tightly flared bowl at the fore of an elongated round shank that joins a vulcanite saddle stem accented with a bright band of Ivorite. The profile resembles that of a Lovat but with a broad, flaring bowl — the streamlined shank and stem serving to drawn prominence to the Dublin bowl. Dressed in a remarkably crisp black sandblast, the stummel boasts impeccable ring grain all around the bowl.
