Yeti: Smooth Horn with Bakelite (339) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-660-0062
Micah Cryder of "Yeti" pipes has displayed an evident penchant for Dublin-esque and Horn-like forms for quite some time now, and whenever he chooses to explore this area of the shape chart, the results are always particularly interesting. Despite the relative compactness of this Horn rendition, the shape itself is rather muscular, with a forward-reaching posture and substantial, ergonomic feel in hand. Micah's also lent subtle ridges to the left and right flanks, accentuating the sweeping curvature of the shape in profile and providing an extra bit of tactile interest to boot. Broad swaths of birdseye fill each flank, divided by neat lanes of cross-grain above and below, and highlighted by one of Micah's stellar contrasts. Complementing all that is a handsome saddle stem sporting a broad, flaring base and an accent of rich blue bakelite.
