Yeti: Sandblasted Bent Apple with Boxwood (348)
Product Number: 002-660-0068
Replete with muscular compactness, this understated offering from Micah "Yeti" Cryder is very much the sort of briar that, while stunning in its poised, abbreviated profile, begs to be held in hand to be fully appreciated. Finished in a very dark sandblast, the rim kissed with a warm contrast finish to highlight a trim circlet of birdseye, and the shank's end complementing it all with a touch of pale boxwood, it's likely sure to be a workhorse smoker, but one rendered in Yeti's acutely charming, aesthetically pleasing style. For added measure, Micah imbued it with a domed saddle stem, with a tight, minute step where saddle meets rounded base, courtesy of the carver's impeccable stemwork. Recommended.
