A birdseye lover's dream, this Eskimo provides straight grain along the flanks, but the theme is definitely weighted toward the birdseye. The top of the pipe has a small area of plateau and the rest is tight birdseye, as is the top of the shank and the entire sweeping surface of the underside. With a subtly lifting gesture to the mouthpiece, echoed by the slight curve of the upper- and lower-side shank, it has beautiful curves as well as crisp shape lines.
