One of America's most celebrated carvers, Micah "Yeti" Cryder fashions expressive and highly organic designs, making this Liverpool something of an outlier in his portfolio. As is traditional for the form, this piece boasts a tall, Billiard-like bowl that stands at the fore of a long, round shank and an abbreviated tapered stem. A subtle taper rounds out the bowl's base and flanks, lending a supple curvature to the form's walls, with this curvature accentuated by the gently cheeked transition.
