Adam Davidson: Sandblasted Fig
Product Number: 002-437-0099
This sandblasted Fig is a great example of one of Adam Davidson's most iconic signature shapes in its current iteration, featuring a plump, Acorn-like bowl with a Cutty's spur or foot positioned just beneath the transition. Like many other renditions, Adam's paid careful attention to the flare and upward-flicking gesture of the shank, allowing the eye to easily travel from the fore of the bowl all the way to the carefully crafted mouthpiece. He's finished this one in a deep walnut contrast sandblast, revealing a smoldering array of rippling ring grain and blasted birdseye alike, as well as a bit of flame peeking through the stummel's detailed texture as well. If you've yet to add this Davidson signature shape to your collection, this example is recommended.- Andrew Wike
