Adam Davidson: Partially Sandblasted Bent Dublin
Product Number: 002-437-0104
Treading the line between overtly muscular and somewhat lean, this fairly compact bent Dublin from Adam Davidson is almost as jaunty as they come, with a crisp, succinct heel making up the burl of a stellar display of tightly-oriented ring-grain riding all flanks. As the form is somewhat compressed along the central axis, the pipe is easy in hand, and may only slightly disturb the lines of a well-tailored tux when out and about. Speaking of being out and about, the brass-inlaid mount arrangement allows the pipe to be broken down at any point, even when hot. And if birdseye is your thing, there's certainly plenty of it, highlighted by a slightly warmer contrast stain, on display at the broad rim and shank's end.
