AKB Meerschaum: Carved Bearded Man (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

A bit of a compressed rendition of the Man in Hat motif, the visage carved across the fore of this meerschaum is quite jolly, though with a distinct look in his eye that leaves me wary, happy that he is meant to be smoked from. His hat is quite stylish, with a flowing feather draped over the left flank, and his many details are ripe for future patination, allowing the colors of the now pale stummel to better match the amber stem.
