J. Alan: Smooth Tomato with Boxwood (1068)
Product Number: 002-376-0181
This Tomato's gesture is low slung, with a firm, deliberate, and almost separated transition at the forward end of the flaring, oval shank, the underside of which is in turn contrastingly seamless. This results in a marrying of the shank to bowl in a way that leaves no interruption to the smooth, effortless line making its way from rim to boxwood accented stem base, via the wide, full waist and along the base. It's a modest shape, size and complexity-wise, for Jeff Gracik, but no less beautiful for being so.
