J. Alan: Smooth Blowfish (1310) Tobacco Pipe

We've been seeing more Blowfish like this from Jeff as of late. It takes a more elongated approach to the bowl, the likes of which we had only previously seen on Blowfish renditions of his that were more elongated overall. This one however, with its powerfully curling, upward-thrust shank and stem, is a tight bundle of energy, despite its relatively generous size. And though he's managed to keep everything tightly bundled, it's no less complex for it, with curling panels, organic asymmetry, and a sweeping, practically razor-tight ridge wrapping the entirety of it all, while also framing some ultra-fine cross-grain and birdseye alike. An awesome piece.
