Ardor: Giove Bent Apple with Bamboo

Combining bold, Italian proportions with an almost gestural flow in profile, this Ardor bent Apple is one of the Roveras' more svelte designs. The broad, plump heel flows effortlessly into the lithe lines of the shank and stem, aided by the gentle transition. Fitting for such an active shape, it's presented in quite a lively palette as well: a vivid, warm contrast stain for the briar set to a bamboo shank extension and an abbreviated, gently downturn saddle stem. The pale hue of the bamboo offers some lovely contrast against the stummel's auburn color and the semi-translucent, amber-hued mouthpiece.
