Ardor: Urano Fantasy Freehand Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-004-2965
This Freehand piece from the Roveras of Ardor certainly is an interesting one, combining elements of several different shapes, including the Horn, Rhodesian, and Egg, in one sinuous, fluid pipe that demonstrates the cohesion of both firm, structural lines with supple curvature. The stem is a lithely bent stretch of acrylic with a band of silver adorning its base, meeting a divoted ring of marbled turquoise and black acrylic, its ridges interrupting the flow of the stem, but matching the ebb of the shank in its Horn-like, flaring progression toward the bowl. The sharp upturn of the transition is met with a sharp ridgeline that denotes the bowl, forming the Rhodesian-esque taper to the rim with a smooth, naturally stained texture that handsomely contrasts the mahogany rustication of the rest of the stummel.
