Ardor: Marte Fantasy Freehand Tobacco Pipe

This muscular Freehand from Ardor presents a bit of a Cherrywood shape, with a squat flaring bowl canted forward and paired to an elevated transition and upward-curling shank. The Italian workshop had their creative pants on for sure when they created this piece, as the rim is demarcated by a wrapping ridgeline and features a dome of birdseye, a feature that reminds me of a Bulldog, and the shank and stem complete a dramatic S-curve in a compact space that keeps the pipe in pocket-friendly dimensions. A wealth of windswept flame grain erupts around the bowl, made resplendent by a smooth finish and vibrant stain, and a colorful acrylic accent at the shank end is matched by the hues of the elegant saddle stem.
