Ardor: Marte Bent Egg Sitter Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-004-3299

A dynamic take on the bent Egg shape, this piece from Ardor displays the workshop's penchant for striking neoclassical works quite well, presenting with proportions that overtly favor the bowl. Said bowl rests atop a flattened base that allows for the easy sitting of this pipe on a desk, its walls flaring out to a low to mid-set waistline that then marks a sleek taper to the rim, with the fore of the rim rising higher than the aft and marked with a descending ridge an the right flank. This forward lift lends the piece a good bit of upward momentum, working in tandem with the ridge to draw the eye toward the bowl's more than two inches of height. A trim shank lifts out back to meet a smartly curved saddle stem of jet black acrylic whose base is marked with a multicolored accent, contrasting well the grain-defining auburn stain that dresses the stummel.
