Ardor: Giove Ninfea Billiard with Silver Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-004-3308
This style of silver spigot mount, or Ninfea as the Roveras call it, is one design that Ardor only employs on their trimmer, more lithesome variations. It makes for a dapper, elegant look in profile — one which likely just wouldn't work as well if paired with a stouter, chubbier shape. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise to find it adorning this sleek Billiard. Ninfea translates roughly into "water lily" from Italian, in reference to the petal-like outline of the silver which adorns the stem, its jet-black acrylic mounting to a silver fitment at the shank end. Said shank takes on a gentle taper from the wide transition to this silver, and further lends the pipe a sense of slender elegance. Up front, the bowl cants forward atop a rounded heel and is rife with comfortable curves as it tapers gently to the rim, holding within its walls a respectable chamber. Light and lean, this pipe showcases some handsome grain beneath its warm auburn stain, with ample birdseye on display across the bowl.-John McElheny
