Ardor: Urano Fantasy Bent Egg Sitter Tobacco Pipe

This bent Egg from Ardor is more modest of proportions than some of the Rovera brothers' designs, offering an elegant combination of rather supple curves and structural, angular lines. The forward-urging bowl is a bit organic in form, its curves lending a bulbous shape here, while the heel is flattened, enabling it to sit sturdily upright. The canting profile up front is countered by an arcing shank-and-stem arrangement leaning in the opposite direction, forming a rather easy, sweeping checkmark in the negative space between them. This piece is dressed in the craggy rustication of the Urano series, its surfaces lent a honeyed, almost natural stain that contrasts well with the patterned stem and shank accent, as well as the silver stem base fitment.
