Ardor: Urano Sabbiata Apple with Silver Tobacco Pipe

Muscular and compact, this is a quite handsome take on the Apple design from the Roveras of Ardor. As expected from the Italian workshop, the bowl is charmingly robust, its low mass and subtle upward taper adhering to classic shaping. It's set to a much abbreviated shank capped by a silver dome, offering a playful dash of flash to the composition, as well as some elegant styling. An ebony-hued acrylic stem tops things off and lends contrast. The stummel is wearing one of the workshop's most uncommon finishes: the Urano Sabbiata, a crisp, black-stained sandblast that unveils dense rippling growth rings which cascade down the bowl.
