A bold, stylish bent Egg from Ardor, this piece possesses a tall, voluptuous bowl that's lent a gestural poise thanks to its lifted heel. The low-set transition and the sleek, flattened lines of the shank lend the bowl most of the composition's visual weight in typical Italian neoclassic style. The stummel wears the unique, eye-catching Spirale finish, with deep grooves of dark rustication intermixed with a continuous swirl of raised, smooth briar. An accent of pale wood at the shank end is separated from the jet-black acrylic stem by a trim band of bright metal.
