Ardor: Alveare Calabash Tobacco Pipe

The vast majority of Calabashes we receive from Ardor feature broad, Mushroom-like caps atop their bowls, and in that respect, this piece stands out immediately. Notably absent said cap, this piece features a strikingly tall bowl of over two and a half inches in height, its thick walls surrounding a wonderfully capacious chamber. A firm heel supports this bowl, while an acute transition marks the start of a lifted, tapering shank which meets a smartly curved half-saddle stem that lends the composition a sweeping undercurve. Dressed in the beehive-like rustication of the Alveare series, this piece comes unstained, its pale briar ripe for future patination as it is smoked.
