Ardor: Alveare Bent Apple Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-004-3411
Ardor was founded in 1974 by father-son duo Angelo and Dorelio Rovera. Today, Damiano and Dimitri Rovera continue the workshop's family legacy. Ardor pipes begin with classical shapes, which are sublimely crafted into wholly original creations. Ardor's "Alveare" finish is quite an evocative one. In English, it translates literally to "beehive" — an image conjured by the finish's various textured grooves wrapping around this bent Apple. The underlying black rustication highlights the cherry-colored outcroppings, especially the smooth finished rim and shank face. The plump, hand-filling bowl possesses thick, insulating walls, allowing one to comfortably enjoy the cavernous chamber often and at length.
