Ardor: Marte Bent Tulip Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-004-3474

Ardor was founded in 1974 by father-son duo Angelo and Dorelio Rovera. Today, Damiano and Dimitri Rovera continue the workshop's family legacy. Ardor pipes begin with classical shapes, which are sublimely crafted into wholly original creations. The Tulip shape is one we have seldom seen from Ardor, sure to pique the interest of those searching for the workshop's rarer pieces. The pert bowl ascends from a supple heel to a cinched waistline before flaring outward to a trim rim, which resembles the floral inspiration of the shape. Out back, the willowy shank-and-stem arrangement gives this piece a cohesive balance, rather than the bowl-centric aesthetic Ardor commonly crafts. Furthermore, the demure tapered stem is fashioned from swirled acrylic, which supplements the striking ochre stain on the stummel that highlights stunning flame grain on the bowl.
