Robust of bowl and impressive in its execution, this Lovat boasts a deeply chambered, sturdy bowl set to a spiral-carved shank and abbreviated stem out back, providing a delightful balance to the height of the bowl. Speaking of the stummel, it's rendered in Ashton's signature dark, ruby-tinged Pebble Grain sandblast, providing a delightful textural presence in hand. Perhaps most striking is how the spiral motif continues into the base of the saddle stem, making the design even more cohesive and spectacular.
