Ashton: Quaint Cherrywood (XXX)
Product Number: 002-006-2888
This Ashton Quaint Cherrywood immediately calls to mind Dunhill's beloved "45" shape. It's more commonly referred to as the "Don," a distinctively unique and elegant take on the Poker that's been highly collectible and sought-after ever since its debut decades ago. The Don is characterized by a cylindrical bowl, an abbreviated shank, and the long, arcing nature of its mouthpiece that gives the overall shape a classy appearance, similar to the Prince but in a more practical, sure-sitting form. This Ashton homage pays tribute to the iconic shape and is a spot-on rendition. The stummel's rich, ruby stain and well-executed sandblast makes this piece even more irresistible and hearkens back to vintage English pipes.- Jeffery Sitts
