Ashton: Old Church Quaint Don (XXX) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-006-3026
Kimmy Craig of Ashton is well known for his modern, classically inclined English pipes, rendering the beloved shapes with a touch of modern class. Here he presents his version of a Dunhill "45" shape, the Don, which features the cant and cylindrical bowl of a Cherrywood combined with a stubby shank and willowy tapered stem connected via a military mount. It's dressed in the lighter tones of the Old Church sandblasted finish, accentuating some really nice grain patterns, and, of course, features one of Craig's hand-shaped vulcanite stems. A surprisingly lightweight piece, with plenty of charm, this is sure to become a favorite in your rotation.
