Ashton: Brindle Bent Billiard Sitter (XX) Tobacco Pipe

While we've seen this design from Ashton a handful of times in the past, this particular bent Billiard sitter is my favorite rendition thus far. From form to finish this is quite an impressive piece and should be an excellent candidate for anyone in the search for a new desk pipe. The bowl exhibits a proud, upright posture, sitting stably on any flat surface it's placed upon and offering a respectably deep chamber within. The low-set transition provides ample room for the thumb to comfortably rest before leading to the gracefully arcing stem. It's finished here in the Brindle sandblast with plenty of crisp texture for wandering fingers to enjoy, dressed in a dark chocolate-tinged stain. It's then topped off by the brindled stem's mix of swirling olive and red tones which provide a lovely contrast to the stummel's shades.
