Ashton: Brindle Dublin with Silver (XXX) Tobacco Pipe

A sleek, timeless design, this Dublin from Jimmy Craig of Ashton positions a stout, flaring bowl at the end of long stretch of shank and stem. The protracted length of the shank offers plenty of space for the fingers to grip, and the firm heel and thick walls of the bowl lend a bit of muscularity and weight to the overall design. The stummel wears a dark, ruby-tinged sandblast that provides a light texture to the briar and coaxes out waves of growth rings which radiate up the flanks of the bowl. A bright, flashy band of sterling silver adorns the shank end, while a tapered stem of yellow and black vulcanite tops off the design.
