Ashton: Old Church Dublin with Silver (ELX) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-006-3370
When it comes to classic renditions of pipe chart standards, few execute shaping and finishing better than Jimmy Craig and the team of artisans at Ashton. The English workshop began in the 1980s when Bill Ashton-Taylor left Dunhill to start his own pipe brand. Since then, the Ashton name has become synonymous with traditional English shapes and immaculate finishes, noted particularly for sandblasting and the use of brindled vulcanite. Here, both of those conventions commend this massive Dublin — bold and full-bodied, the shape is dressed in the Old Church sandblast, the stummel's warm hues pairing handsomely with the red and black tones of the cumberland stem. It's all beautifully accented by a generous sterling silver band, lending the design a refined aesthetic.
