Presented in ELX size, one of the largest sizes in Ashton's portfolio, this straight Dublin stretches past six inches in total length and boasts a bowl over two inches in height. The bowl, appropriately, houses a capacious chamber within its thick insulating walls, which should ensure plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. The shank-and-stem arrangement stretches out in an arrow-straight line that keeps the overall form sleek and well-balanced. A crisp, earthy sandblast dresses the stummel and brings vivid definition to the natural grain orientation of the briar, save for the rim, which is left smooth and stained a lighter color for contrast. For further visual appeal, this piece is accented with sterling silver band and topped with a mouthpiece of ruby-hued vulcanite.
