A towering bowl of nearly palm-filling stoutness is presented here from Jimmy Craig of Ashton pipes, its "ELX" stamping ranking just beneath the English marque's ultimate giant, the "Magnum" assignation. More than two inches of chamber depth awaits favored blends, its thick walls providing lots of insulation. A fine Sitter, it's quite lengthy as well, the muscular shank and tapered cumberland stem stretching out stably in back. This piece is wearing a dark, ruby-tinged sandblast, showcasing a bevy or handsome growth rings, with one of Jimmy's generous silver bands lending further flourish.
