Elegant and precisely rendered, this lengthy Prince shape from Ashton exudes poise and features a broad, squat bowl that's perched at the fore of a straight shank and a demurely curved stem of jet-black vulcanite. The languid bend through the shank and stem keeps the pipe active and gestural in profile and encourages a comfortable smoking posture. A deep, auburn-hued rendition of the Pebble Grain sandblast dresses the stummel and brings vivid definition to the natural grain orientation of the briar, while a domed military mount of black vulcanite enables the stem to be removed at any time, even when hot.
