Ashton: Ebony Rhodesian with Silver (XX) Tobacco Pipe

A squat and low-slung rendition of the classic Rhodesian, this piece from Ashton features a stout, muscular bowl that stands at the fore of an upturned shank and an arching saddle stem. The shank-and-stem arrangement provides balance to the bowl and encourages a comfortable smoking posture. A pair of beadlines rest high on the bowl's waistline, demarcating the domed rim from the rest of the stummel. An inky sandblast dresses the stummel and unveils rippling growth rings across the flanks of the bowl. Courtesy of the workshop's Ebony series, this pipe also features a jet-black vulcanite stem and a junction marked by a broad silver band, lending it a distinctive dress pipe aesthetic.
