Ashton: Old Church Rhodesian (XXX) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

Ashton's Rhodesian shapes often lend a bit more substance to both the transition and shank while shaping the bowl into something a touch more spherical in form. While this Old Church-finished example showcases this robust aesthetic quite well, it's a bit different from other variations we've received in the firmer lines of the underside and its rather understated curvature, the bowl growing to a high-set waist marked with a pair of beadlines. The craggy blast has unveiled some mesmerizing grain patterns, and the vibrant colors of the brindled vulcanite mouthpiece do a beautiful job of complementing the stummel's understated tan stain. This particular piece comes in a special collector's case that was handcrafted by Jimmy Craig himself, the head of the Ashton workshop.
