A distinctive and handsome rendition of the classic Belge, this piece from Ashton boasts a tall, forward-canted bowl that rises at the fore of a sinuously bent shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl's active posture works in concert with the shank and stem's languid build to produce a rather dynamic silhouette that immediately captures the eye. A dark sandblast dresses the stummel and highlights some fetching grain around the bowl, while a sterling silver accent adorns the junction and ties the entire composition together with a dose of flash.
