Ashton: Brindle Prince with Silver (XX) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-006-3725
Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This Prince by Jimmy Craig of Ashton dresses the plump bowl and short shank in the inky hues of the workshop's Brindle sandblast, exposing rippling growth rings and creating an interactive texture. Out back, a shining silver band demarcates the stummel from the stem, which features a swirling pattern of brindled vulcanite that extends along its lengthy profile.
