Ashton: Claret Bent Dublin (XXX) Tobacco Pipe

Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft he realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This bent Dublin by Jimmy Craig of Ashton is dressed in the workshop's Claret sandblast, the ruby hues and rugged surface pairing nicely with the dark tones of the vulcanite tapered stem. The gestural shape frames a flowing figure from the flared rim, to the curvaceous transition, and the graceful profile of the shank and stem, which manifests this bent Dublin's organic character.
